I feel best when I'm solving problems, playing music, helping someone, being active, or spending time with people close to me.
I believe in always working hard, always challenging yourself, always following through, and always pursuing something that matters to you.
In the next few years, I want to work at a startup, start an online business, commit to learning another language, play more music, travel more, and always continue to challenge myself.
I grew up in Flagstaff, Arizona, a small and rural area where I developed a love for nature. Now during the school year you'll find me in Ithaca, New York for school, but I'm hoping to spend my summers somewhere on the west coast.
I'm a freshman at Cornell University studying computer science. I'm lucky to be a part of the community, and the opportunities there are endless. While my classes keep me busy, I'm also a big believer in independent learning - it's important for me to make time to go online or grab a book and teach myself more about the things I'm most interested in.
TEDxCornell
I am IT lead for TEDxCornell 2018. In IT, I'm working on the event website (tedxcornell.com), but I'm also
reaching out to speakers and working on advertisement and general design. I hope to stay involved while I'm at Cornell, expanding
the team and hosting a more impressive event each year.
Cornell Data Science
I'm a part of Cornell Data Science's deep learning team, which
explores the development and application of neural networks. Neural networks are a type of machine learning
algorithms loosely based off of how our own brains work, with many "neurons" communicating and producing a response
given an input. I'm currently working on implementing convolutional and recurrent neural networks and
I plan on completing a project to generate original music with deep learning in the near future.
